REGISTRATION POLICIES AND PROCEEDURES
 
Registration is required for all participants of IEEE INFOCOM 2017
Main Conference Authors must be registered by: 20 January 2017
Workshop Authors must be registered by 12 March 2017
Poster/Demo Authors must be registered by Monday April 10, 2017
Author Registration Requirements are listed below

Please do not share your registration confirmation code with anyone else. Although the code enables submission of up to three papers, it can only be used once, by you, to create an author account for these submissions.
 
Photo ID required. Individuals are responsible for picking up their own Registration packages.

No attendee will be allowed to pick up conference packages for their colleagues.

REGISTRATION TRANSFER POLICY: All requests for registration transfers must be submitted to INFOCOMreg@ieee.org and received by Friday 14 April 2017. After 14 April 2017, there will be a US$100 transfer fee imposed and possible additional fees depending upon the new registrant's membership status for each request.
 
CANCELATION POLICY:  All refund/cancellation requests must be received by  10 April 2017. There will be an administrative fee of US$100 deducted from each refund. 
 
VISA ASSITANCE LETTERS (soft copy in PDF format) will be sent to all attendees who requested a letter during registration and have paid their fees in full. Those needing a hard copy of the letter must complete a ComSoc Visa Assistance Request (http://visa.comsoc.org/). Request for a hard copy visa letter will be subject to a US $25 fee to cover the cost of courier delivery.

PHOTOGRAPHY
Attendance at, or participation in, this conference constitutes consent to the use and distribution by IEEE of the attendee’s image or voice for informational, publicity, promotional and/or reporting purposes in print or electronic communications media. No flash photography will be used. Video recording by participants and other attendees during any portion of the conference is not allowed without special prior written permission of IEEE. Photographs of copyrighted PowerPoint or other slides are for personal use only and are not to be reproduced or distributed. Do not photograph any such images that are labeled as confidential and/or proprietary.

MAIN CONFERNCE AUTHORS
To be published in the IEEE INFOCOM 2017 Conference Proceedings and to be eligible for publication in IEEE Xplore®, an author of an accepted paper is required to register for the conference at the full (member or non-member) rate and the paper must be presented by an author of that paper at the conference unless the TPC Chair grants permission for a substitute presenter arranged in advance of the event who is qualified both to present and answer questions.  Non-refundable registration fees must be paid prior to uploading the final IEEE formatted, publication-ready version of the paper.  For authors with multiple accepted papers, one full registration is valid for up to 2 papers.  Accepted and presented papers will be submitted to IEEE Xplore®.

WORKSHOP AUTHORS
To be published in the IEEE INFOCOM 2017 Conference Proceedings and to be eligible for publication in IEEE Xplore®, an author of an accepted paper is required to register for the IEEE WORKSHOPS at the appropriate rate listed below.  (Note the half day workshop only rate is NOT valid for author registrations.) The paper must be presented by an author of that paper at the workshop unless the IEEE INFOCOM Workshop Chairs grants permission for a substitute presenter arranged in advance of the event who is qualified both to present and answer questions.  Non-refundable registration fees must be paid prior to uploading the final IEEE formatted, publication-ready version of the paper.  For authors with multiple accepted papers, one workshop registration is valid for up to 2 papers.  Accepted and presented papers will be submitted to IEEE Xplore®.  If you also have a paper in the main confernce you must register for both the conference and the workshop.

POSTER and DEMO SESSION AUTHORS

For the abstract of your poster or demo to be published in the IEEE INFOCOM 2017 Conference Proceedings and to be eligible for publication in IEEE Xplore, an author of an accepted abstract is required to register for the conference for at least ONE DAY REGISTRATION at the appropriate rate for your membership category. In addition, the poster or demo must be presented by an author of the demo/poster unless the IEEE INFOCOM TPC Chairs grant permission for a substitute presenter arranged in advance of the event, who is qualified both to present and answer questions. Non-refundable registration fees must be paid prior to uploading the final IEEE formatted, publication-ready version of the demo/poster abstract. For authors with multiple accepted abstracts, one registration is valid for up to 2 abstracts. Accepted and presented abstracts will be submitted to IEEE Xplore. If you also have a paper in the main conference you must register at the full member/non-member rate.
Poster/Demo Authors must register by Monday April 10, 2017.
 

 

Policies on No-shows and Substitute Presenters
Each paper must be presented by an author of the paper in person at the conference. Presentations via teleconference (e.g., Skype) or pre-recorded tape are not permitted. Permission to have the paper presented by a substitute presenter may be granted by the TPC Chairs under certain extraordinary circumstances. Authors with travel contingencies should consider arranging a substitute presenter. A substitute presenter must be qualified to answer questions regarding the paper. A request of a substitute presenter must be sent to the TPC Chairs no later than 5:00pm US EST, Friday, April 7, 2017. The TPC Chairs may approve or deny the request by 5:00pm US EST Friday, April 14, 2017. A no-response by the TPC Chairs after this deadline shall be considered as denial. 
 
A paper not presented or presented by a non-author without prior written approval by the TPC Chairs will be removed from the final conference proceedings before uploading to IEEE Xplore®. No refund will be made to authors of these papers.
